However in Chamonix town the catered chalet is nearly always outstanding. In addition dining in my number one bar, Art’s Pit Bar-B-Q, eating herb butter popcorn is a real treat. Chamonix Mont Blanc is a big enough town to make sure that there is plenty for the non-skier to do. Including a spa and a weekly market with fresh local produce, Chamonix offers a choice of walking, French charm and sightseeing which few French ski resorts can hope to rival.
