Time Is Money with Online Bonuses
We all know that online poker bonuses are not exactly string free, but I find the recent development of time restrictions particularly troubling. While I am not a big fan, I at least understand why poker casinos require you to play through the bonus a couple of times. I do not, however, understand why some casinos require you to complete the play through in a defined period of time. I can see no logical explanation for this because the casino still gets your money no matter how long it takes you to play it through. The odds are still in favor of the house that they will get a sizable chunk of change whether it takes a day or a month. Time restrictions, of course, are a way for the poker casino to prevent paying out your bonuses. The theory is that you will go through your whole bankroll, and not have enough to reload in the specified period of time. If I am being lenient this is unscrupulous, but I rarely feel lenient. I consider the practice of time restrictions with online bonuses a blatant ploy to take advantage of the poker playing community. Don’t join in on the deception, refuse bonuses with time restrictions. We all need to stand up for our principles every once in a while.
