Hunting the Dream
This is going to sound daft writing on a blog on the Internet… but I am currently hunting broadband deals.
Now obviously I have my own broadband connection, I’m not writing this to you from an Internet cafe. But I have been looking at the new deals on Broadbandgenie.co.uk for mobile broadband and have decided that it’s time to give it a go.
Let’s face it; mobile broadband is part of the dream. Wireless got us part of the way there, stopping us from being chained to our desk (via the computer of course) but it still keeps us in range of our wireless connections and hotspots.
Mobile broadband though gives us much closer to the dream of world domination, sorry I mean freedom. It allows access to the Internet from anywhere in the UK that gets a mobile signal. So working and traveling are now far easier, and you don’t have to lose track of what is happening anywhere.
So that’s why I am hunting broadband deals. Mobile broadband. There’s actually a lot of deals out there so making my choice is proving to be a bit harder, some even have a free laptop with it (a backup is always useful).
How about you guys, any of you got your laptop mobile yet?
